Deacon Michael Kennedy in the Southwark Chancery

NEW CHANCELLOR FOR THE ARCHDIOCESE OF SOUTHWARK
Many congratulations to Deacon Michael Kennedy who succeeds Mgr Matthew Dickens as Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Southwark.
Deacon Michael has previously been Vice-Chancellor and Administrator of the Chancery, and takes up his new responsibilities with over 35 years of experience.
Commenting upon the appointment, Archbishop Wilson said:
'I am grateful to Deacon Michael, and to Mary Doolan, the Vice Chancellor, for their continued service to the Archdiocese.'
We congratulate Deacon Michael who is a past pupil of both the FMA and SDB schools in Battersea, a Salesian Cooperator and for 16 years- parish Deacon of Sacred Heart, Battersea. As he takes up his new role in the Archdiocese of Southwark we pray for him and thank him for his dedication to the Salesian Family.
